Ryan's Aztec War Club is his rendition of the Macuahuitl, an ancient wooden war club dating back to the first millennium. The name Macuahuitl is derived from the Nahuatl language and means "hand-wood". We get "bladed terror" from it! The traditional club was normally made from oak or pine and embedded with blades often made from obsidian. Ryan's version is made from hickory with 1070 steel blades, 16.5 inches worth, they are attached with copper pins. The body is adorned with an extremely detailed Aztec motif and stained in a deep red / orange.
